Dysport®

Dysport is another muscle relaxant product which was approved for use in the United States in 2009, but has been successful in other countries as far back as 1991. Similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport is sometimes the preferred treatment for frown lines and the crow's feet lines of the outer corners of the eyes, specifically for those who are immune and therefore unresponsive to BOTOX® Cosmetic.

Laser Vascular Treatment

This non-surgical technology is used to eliminate the spider veins on the sides of the nose, cheeks, and legs. The wave length, spot size and pulse frequency is different from the laser hair removal in that it targets and destroys the red pigment (blood) in the capillaries and dissolves the unsightly spider veins. Larger unsightly blue veins could be destroyed by laser or by injection of a so called sclerotic agent such as concentrated saline solution.

Chemical Peels

As sun damage occurs, the outer layer of skin, the epidermis, becomes thicker and the inner layer, the dermis, becomes thinner. Fine lines, enlarged pores, and spider veins become visible and the skin surface becomes opaque and less translucent.

An acid peel firms up the dermis and takes away the built up dead layers of epidermis, restoring its translucency, luster, and vitality. To achieve a great cosmetic result, a single or a combination of the highest grade non-neutralized or non-buffered acid derived from sugar cane and milk is used to exfoliate the skin. The alpha or beta-hydroxy acids loosen the impaction in the follicles and eliminate the so called black heads and white heads. The application of higher concentration of these acids results in a better refinement of the skin but also a longer recovery time.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion, a mechanical exfoliation of the outer layers of the skin, employs different abrasive particles and a negative pressure to gently remove the dead layers of epidermis, reducing the skin pores, fine lines, and age spots.

Dark Spots and Melasma

The treatment of melasma and dark spots can be challenging and frustrating with recurrences being the rule. There are various topical and in-office treatments to treat these troubling dark patches on the face. It is important to use adequate sunscreen and discontinue the use of any oral medications that may be contributing to the problem. Treatment options can include special custom order topical creams and chemical peels. A thorough evaluation and a strict treatment plan will be implemented based on a personal analysis.

Eye Rejuvenation

Dr. Berke's eye rejuvenation treatment can rejuvenate sagging or tired-looking eyes by adding volume to sunken areas with the use of various fillers.
